MEET DR. KRISTAN RODRIGUEZ
A new chapter, built on the same foundation of care
Dr. Kristan Rodriguez believes that being a great dentist means never stopping learning. Her passion for dentistry has led her through years of advanced education and training, always with the goal of providing her patients with thoughtful, comprehensive care and the very best dentistry she can offer.

Dr. Rodriguez earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2012 before moving to Texas to attend the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed an additional two years of postgraduate training, where she developed advanced skills in restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, periodontal surgery, and cosmetic dentistry. She has also completed specialized training in implant dentistry and sedation.

Her education didn't stop when she earned her dental degree. Dr. Rodriguez has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education through the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry and is currently working toward her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She also participates in a monthly dental study club and has completed advanced training through the Kois Center in Seattle and MOLIS, further strengthening her skills in comprehensive, restorative, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Rodriguez is an active member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She is also actively involved in advocating for important legislative measures through the Oregon Dental Association, helping support the dental profession and the patients it serves.

At the office, Dr. Rodriguez brings all of this experience together with a warm, calm, and genuinely personal approach to dentistry. She takes the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns and goals, and explain their options in a way that feels comfortable and understandable. She believes patients should feel heard, respected, and confident in the care they receive.

After years of education, training, and experience, Dr. Rodriguez is grateful to have the opportunity to care for the people of Sherwood and the surrounding communities.

Since making the Portland area her home, Dr. Rodriguez has also found meaningful ways to give back to the community she is proud to be a part of. She is honored to continue Sherwood Dental Care's longstanding tradition of being the primary sponsor of Sherwood's Music on the Green, as well as supporting the Sherwood Robinhood Festival and Parade.
